I am very flexible with requests and often have additional suggestions for "signature shots" of mine that have proven to be fun and entertainig for my clients and their families. After all, it is my experiences and knowledge that you will have hired along with my technical equipment.
My experiences with events under various indoor and outdoor circumstances and my ability to adapt to them quickly will give you peace of mind. In fact, the nature of my business calls for me to view each event twice...once when recording and again while editing. This has given me a sharper insight into how well (or, not so well) certain plans work out. And, though I may not advertise as an event planner or a wedding consultant, I am always happy to answer non-video related questions for my clients.
I endeavor, at all events, to maintain good communications with other service providers in order to promote the smoothest possible proceedings. I don’t want any toes stepped on. This extends to photographers, disc jockeys, clergy, caterers, or anyone else who, if cooperated with, will work that much harder to make your day more enjoyable.
You and your guests enjoying the day is very high on my priority list. If I can’t remain entirely inconspicuous, I try to keep my interactions with people very positive.
I have been told by many of my clients that, not only do they love the finished products, but that, during the planning, the occasion itself, and afterwards, I was very easy to work with. I also often hear that people hardly noticed I was there while recording. I attempt to keep that low profile to preserve the spontaneous moments and not have anyone feeling self-conscious. However, even those who are shy can rarely resist my humorous “camera side manner”. This is what allows me to get you the well thought out and sincere messages that make such a great addition to your finished video.
Turnaround time is also important. If you have to wait and wait to see your video, it takes a lot of the freshness and enjoyment out of watching it that first time. The finished, edited production for virtually any event (particularly a wedding) is finished very quickly.
